Observance of Labor Day

The Philippines observes Labor Day on May 1 each year to honor its diligent residents. In Filipino, it is known as "Araw ng mga Manggagawa". People relax and spend the day with their love one's in the Philippines.   Labor movements and parades are a component of the festivities in Malacanang (the former American Governor's mansion, now the Presidential palace), as well as in significant cities like Manila. Their complaints, which include the minimum wage, cruel working conditions, and other problems that impair employee rights, are brought to light by these activities. My 3rd Quarter Reflection

Time flies so fast, just one last quarter we will be graduating from junior high, while we are in the 3rd quarter I have learned a lot about html and making a community based research (cbr) We were formed a group because we all came from the municipality of Sta. Catalina. In our group we drew number 2 the topic is about Environment and Disaster Preparedness. After class We immediately went to the houses near the coast and we interviewed them about what they did after the earthquake and ask them what they do when they found out that there was going to be a Stunami because the sea water had turned back. We are happy because the LGU in our municipality they immediately responded that people in the side of the sea should evacuate now. And they are watching the sea overtime to check if the sea is going to flow and thank god the sea is back to normal and the people have returned to their homes.
